As followers of Jesus, we are called to be model citizens—people who pay taxes honestly, respect laws that align with justice, show kindness to neighbors, and live orderly lives. This isn't motivated by fear of consequences alone, but by love for others and respect for God's established order.

By refusing conformity to the world and embracing ongoing mind renewal, we experience true metamorphosis. This leads to clearer discernment of God's will, humble self-view, and genuine harmony with others.

God gives us understanding, yes—but we must not lean solely on it. How often have we insisted on our plans, only to face unnecessary detours, dead ends, cul-de-sacs, or roundabouts in life? Money stress, job pressures, marriage conflicts, health concerns—these could often become straighter paths if we fully submitted every area to Him, not just the overwhelming or scary ones.

Whew! This is no Hallmark movie—it's more like a Jerry Springer Show with high stakes. Jealousy, bargaining, surrogacy drama, and a whole lot of "keeping score." Yet through every messy moment, God is quietly fulfilling His promise to Abraham: descendants as numerous as the stars (Genesis 15:5; 22:17).

How has God's enduring love shown up in your creation (your very existence), your deliverance (times He rescued you), or your daily provision? In a world of change and uncertainty, this truth anchors us—His love endures forever.

Everything else is fleeting, but God's love is the one possession that never fails. It's given freely, not because we deserve it (none of us do), but because of who He is—our Provider, Redeemer, and faithful Father.

God's love is not earned; it is who He is. No matter where you are—struggling with sin, feeling unsteady, or simply needing reassurance—call on Him. He is slow to anger, quick to forgive, and abounding in love that never fails.

So, as we step into this new month and theme, ask yourself: What "land" are you entering right now—figuratively? A new season, challenge, business venture, relationship, or goal? Before any plans, projections, or pursuits, prioritize loving the Lord your God with everything you've got and walking in obedience to Him. When we do, Scripture promises blessing, increase, and a rich, full life—because this world was created by a loving God for His children to thrive in His promise
